Electrical Engineering

Title

Electrical Engineering

Description

Todd is generally recognised for his work in Astronomy, meteorology and the Postal Service. However, Todd's interests were very broad, none more so than in electrical engineering. His involvement with telegraphy gave him an appreciation for the science of electricity which he carried forward into electrical generation, battery technology, lighting and other applications of electricity to the modernising life of mid-late Victorians.
